Magical Map

What You’ll Need:

• poster board
• crayons, markers, and pencils
• scissors
• glue
• metal paper clip
• magnet
• ruler

How to Make It:

1. On a poster board, draw and color a bus and a map of a town. (The bus should be able to fit on the roads that you draw.)

2. Cut out the bus, and glue a metal paper clip on the back. Place it on the map.

3. Glue a strong refrigerator magnet on the end of a ruler. Hold it under the map where the bus is. As you move the magnet, the bus will move with it. “Drive” the bus around town.

4. If you wish, create trains, people, animals, and other movable objects. Glue a paper clip on the back of each, and move them around, too. Give a magnet to a friend, and play together.
